{"id":40,"date":"2014-10-17T07:55:15","date_gmt":"2014-10-17T07:55:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.224.8.99\/wordpress\/?page_id=40"},"modified":"2019-01-23T09:03:08","modified_gmt":"2019-01-23T09:03:08","slug":"venue-reservation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/ospa.upd.edu.ph\/about\/venue-reservation\/","title":{"rendered":"Vinzons Hall Venue Reservation"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"justify\"><strong>Vinzons\u2019 Hall Venue Reservation Guidelines<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"justify\">(For August 2017 to December 2018 only)<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Only duly-registered students or student organizations may reserve and use any of the Vinzons Hall activity rooms (Alcantara Hall, Activity Center, Rooftop), and the Lorena Barros Hall (LBH). <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Priority shall be given to registered University-wide student organizations<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Check the Vinzons Hall Venue Reservation Calendar at OSA(at the office or website) for the availability of your preferred venue. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Please note that:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>For the use of Alcantara Hall<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">: <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>each org will only be given a maximum<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> of <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>8 hrs per month (4 hrs for college-based orgs)<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> to give equal chance to other U-wide orgs to use this facility;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">NO organization or student can reserve more than three (3) consecutive full days of use for the other venues. College-based orgs and individual students can only reserve and use any of the venues up to two (2) times a week.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">OSA can make changes or cancellations to the reservation in cases of official activities or emergencies. In these cases, an alternative venue is provided unless the notice is made at least a week ahead of time and ensuring that the organization can make necessary rearrangements.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Fill out the Vinzons Hall Venue Reservation form with an Activity Approval Form (AAF) to ensure that your activity is recorded in your org\u2019s Bukluran line-up of activities. Both forms can be downloaded at osa.upd.edu.ph (click the tab \u2018Organized Students Program\u2019). For all venues <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>except for the LBH<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">,signatures must also be obtained from any USC member. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>College-based orgs or individual students <\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">who wish to use any of the Vinzons\u2019 Hall venues must secure your College Secretary\/Associate Dean for Student Affairs\/College OSA Coordinator\u2019s signature to certify your registration status. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The list of requirements\/necessary letters to process your reservation is also found at the OSA website. Please ensure that the necessary letters\/requirements are attached with the form to facilitate your request\/reservation and avoid delays.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">An Overtime Fee (OT) for the Custodial Staff shall be charged for the following:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">P50.00\/hr if the activity is within 4 pm to 9 pm (Monday to Friday)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">P50.00\/hr from 8 am to 9 pm (Saturday)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The use of venues during holidays is subject to the availability of staff. Overtime Fee (OT) must be paid at OSA <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>at least 1 day before<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> the date of your activity, especially if the activity falls on a Saturday or holiday. Failure to do so means cancellation of the reservation. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The use of all Vinzons Hall venues is for student activities directly related to the nature and objective of the organization, and which will benefit the studentry. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Reserving and using any of the venues in behalf of person(s) not associated with the University or for personal monetary gain will not be tolerated.
